Would this help with alopecia?….
One of my sons developed alopecia at about 11 years of age due to prolonged stress. His hair did regrow after I gave him homeopathic treatment and supplements, but now that he has been living on his own the alopecia has taken hold again. He is now 36 years of age.
He used to have beautiful thick hair….

In reply to Coco Lucas. Of course eat the rice. Soaking rice releases phytic acid, improving digestibility and making uptake of IP6 possible. I only wish I had learned this fermenting trick decades ago years ago for hair and skin health. I had a recipe for this and on the instructions it said after you let it set for 24 hours , you are to put it in a pan and heat it until it comes to a boil. Let it cool and put it in a spray bottle. Is this correct ?

One concern I have is that virtually all rice, including organic, has some level of arsenic and we soak rice to assist in the removal of the arsenic. So even after washing the rice, the soak meant to remove the arsenic and get tossed out is now the water to condition hair and skin? Is this not a bad concept to have arsenic rice water condition your hair and skin?

In the description you say to put the rice water on your hair for 5 minutes and then condition. What about the shampooing, is it before or after the 5 minute rice water treatment?

In reply to Sue. you have to wash ur hair then add rice water let it soak for 30-45 min then rinse it out again i recommend using once a week also try to use coconut oil

I’m losing more hair when I use rice water than when I don’t. I have only used it three times so far. I add coconut oil and a drop of lavender oil. The first two times were every other day. When I saw an increase in hair loss I skipped two weeks before trying again. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for the great tips! I was thinking what if you drank the fermented rice water could it potentially help with healing the gut lining?
