Hello!

I would like to know what would be the best carrier oil(s) that would blend very well with Franckincense essential pure oil for stretch marks and help with skin scars? “In the article it says a pure oil would be best”.What would you suggest in terms of an unscented oil or cream to use? I started using Frankincense oil about 2 weeks ago and have been using a few drops on my feet and back of neck per day. I am using it with a carrier oil. Yesterday I woke up and just felt totally out of it and not myself. I felt lethargic, depleted and VERY irritable and snappy. This is not myself. I am wondering if I am using too much and am sort of wondering if it is affecting my hormone levels (I am 48). I really do like the way it helps my anxiety and the sense of calm I get when I take it. But, yesterday was the first time I have felt this weird and not myslef after taking it. I take medication for anxiety and this oil seems to completely eliminate anxiety. It makes me want to see if I can get off the medication. But, I think I just took too much. Have you heard of this happening?

My mother is fighting for her life (stage 4 melanoma that is now in her lung and brain.) It was recently discovered that brain tumors are appearing rapidly (went from 2 to 10 in two weeks) and the cancer is very aggressive. She is undergoing immunotherapy and brain radiation. She started using frankincense as soon as it was discovered in her lungs. Can frankincense still make a difference? How much should she be ingesting?

Dr. Axe, I am taking a blood thinner. I suffer with IBS and was wondering if I use the oil to rub on my stomach if it would conflict with my blood thinner rather than ingesting it. I have tried a variety of high quality therapeutic grade EO. I do fine with aromatherapy, but when I apply to the feet, or any other place on the body, a rash breaks out on my abdomen and stomach. I’ve been AK muscle tested and the Dr. says I should have no problem with them. I’ve also heard that it could be the result of a sulfur deficiency or toxins under the skin. Any idea why I can not tolerate any EO applied to my body with out a breakout.? I’ve tried detoxing and it still happens. How would I know if I do have a sulfur issue and what to do to correct? There are so many benefits of EO and I really want to be able to use them and reap the great health benefits. I’m frustrated–and scratching. :-) Thanks for your feedback.
