The precaution is predominantly due to the turmeric. Turmeric can block clotting factors. Unfortunately ginger also has a mild affect on blood thinning, so the combination of turmeric and ginger can substantially increase your chance for bleeding.

The blood test was to check kidney function, b4 MRi with contrast…I have an inoperable brain tumor remnant and am now on yearly MRi’s watch & wait

Ginger & turmeric THIN the blood. I got a blood test, when I was drinking them to offset my 2nd dose CoViD shot (causes extra thrombosis for me (for 3 months!!?), due to underlying genetic condition) and the lab tech asked if I was on blood thinners, cuz it took a good 30 mins for the bleeding to clot.
