My Mom uses mace in hers p. pie recipe, along with cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, mace, sea salt, allspice
I use her dry mix and add coconut oil liquid, or brain octane. MIx up…
Let sit overnite. Allows the spices to hydrate and intensifies the flavor .
I do this when using a lot of mixed spices for all my other recipes too.
Using a small mason jar with lid.
